Singer, Tems Nominated for BET “Best New International Act” Viewer’s Choice Awards 2021

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly called Tems has been nominated for the 2021 BET Awards.

Tems was nominated alongside other rappers and singers like South African R&B singer, Elaine; British acts; Arlo Parks and Bree Runway.

Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy was also nominated for “Best New International Act” alongside French singers, Aya Nakamura and Youssoupha, and others.

The BET Awards 2021 will air Live on Monday, June 28.

“The ‘Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act’ category was created to award breakthrough talent and emerging voices in music from around the world,” said Monde Twala, SVP of BET International. “We’re thrilled to honour this year’s exceptional nominees on the global ‘BET Awards’ platform.”
