Nigerian actress Bimpe Oyebade has stated that actor and movie producer Yomi Fabiyi needs to be stopped after revealing he threatened, tormented and terrorised her for refusing his sexual advances.
The actress disclosed this in her reaction to Fabiyi’s new controversial movie, ‘Oko Iyabo’, that chronicles the sexual assault case of actor Baba Ijesha and comedian Princess.
A follower reminded the actress of when Fabiyi kept on bullying her on social media. In her reply, she said, “I’m aware, I just decided to always ignore. The major reason is because I didn’t make myself available for his sexual needs despite how much he tried, but doing this to a child is just too much.”
Bimpe further claimed that Fabiyi almost made her give up on acting because of his relentless sexual advances and threats. “Yomi Fabiyi needs to be stopped. Enough is enough. Thank God for his grace. If not, I would have given up on this dream because of his constant harassment, bully and threats.”
Several Nigerian celebrities have condemned the actor for releasing such a controversial movie, ‘Oko Iyabo’, while the Theatre Art and Motion Picture Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN) also summoned him to face panel on July 11, 2021.
