Chief Ebenezer Obey, popularly called “Chief Commander” is undoubtedly a famous and legendary Juju singer in Nigeria.

He was a very popular Juju musician  in the 50s, before he converted to gospel music in the 90s.

But the seventy-year-old is in fact an in -law to a royal family in Lagos, as one of the influential kings in Lagos is married to one of his daughter.

Ebenezer Obeys’s daughter’s wedding

The king of Kweme Kingdom, a kingdom Badagry West of Lagos state, Oba (Dr.) Sejiro Olalekan Fames is the husband of the third child and second daughter of the living legend, Queen Orejaiye Sejiro.

The monarch got married to the daughter of the musician – cum -evangelist in a glamorous wedding that was attended by important figures in 2017.

According to an interview by the queen, she met with the king in 2015, and they dated for two years, after which she relocated back to Nigeria from UK, where she was working as a nurse to get married.

King Sejiro Olalekan is an influential king in Badagry, he has been ruling the Kweme kingdom for about 14 years now. He is also one of the youngest kings in the country, and well respected as well.
