Singer Paul Okoye, profoundly called Rudeboy, has advised against announcing one’s success when it has not fully arrived.
The former member of P-Square boy band shared this on his Instagram stories on Wednesday night, August 11, 2021.
Rudeboy stated that when a testimony is shared prematurely, it attracts evil spirits. “Teach yourself not to announce testimony until everything is sealed. Premature testimony attracts evil spirit,” he wrote.
The ‘Reason With Me’ crooner, who just released his debut solo studio album dubbed ‘Rudy kill us’ clarified why the 12-track body of work has a gospel track, ‘Iheneme’.
Despite being a secular artiste, Rudeboy, in an Instagram live interview session, disclosed that “Iheneme means something is happening, In fact; Iheneme is the closing of my album because of the way my music comes to me.”
“I used to tell people that my music comes from my dream. I do not carry pen and paper, I do not write anything. I just see myself sleeping, wake up and I’m singing.”
“I then take my phone into the studio and record. If your mother or grandmother is close to you tell her to listen to this song, she would tell you something about this song because some part of that song has been existing more than 50 years and I did that song because even the days of Psquare I do that, you can everly see a song thanking God, it is not possible I’ll do an album without thanking God because God has been on my side, so that’s it,” he said.
