‘Doing Business In Nigeria Is Frustrating,’ Mercy Aigbe Laments On Spike In Exchange Rate

Screen diva Mercy Aigbe has taken to her social media page to complain about the stress she’s going through as a businesswoman in Nigeria.

The actress cries out that the poor economic situation of the country is frustrating her business in a new Instagram post.

Mercy Aigbe wrote on her Instagram page of over 9.7 million followers on Monday that the Naira to other countries’ currencies’ exchange rates are negatively affecting her business.

“Doing business in this country is frustrating! The exchange rate is crazy!!!! God help us,” she shared, expressing her tiredness at the country’s economic woes.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the Nigerian Naira had hit an all-time low in 48 years on Thursday, September 9 after trading for 545/$ in parallel markets.

Confirming the development, parallel market and bureau de change (BDC) traders disclosed that the Naira is falling rapidly against the greenback.
