BBNaija Housemate, Pere and Saga got into a heated argument while preparing for a group task. The conflict erupted on Tuesday, day 52 of the show, when Saga expressed an opinion that differed from Pere’s.
During the YouID task, Saga, Pere, Queen, and Emmanuel were assigned to Team Security, one of three task groups.
Saga wanted the group to follow the brief, but Pere suggested they also include what was shown in the video.
“I’m saying we should inculcate everything,” Pere stated.
“I’m playing to win,” he added. I’m not sure about you. I’m in this to win.”
Saga then told Pere to stop taking it personally and to let other members of the group contribute as well.
“Don’t bring that energy here,” he said. Everything we do is for the benefit of the group. We will all contribute ideas. Don’t bring that kind of energy here.”
“Why should I not bring the energy to win here?” Pere retorted. We must play to win. What exactly do you mean? “Shouldn’t I bring some positive energy here?”
Queen attempted to defuse the situation by saying, “You guys should stop this thing.” It’s fine.”
“Yeah, I play to win, too,” she added. Let us simply do our best. Others have already made significant progress.”
Emmanuel, who was also attempting to calm the situation, stated, “I want us to win this thing.”
