Arguably the most decorated singer in the world, Beyonce, has released a heartfelt note to express her appreciation to her fans for their wishes as she clocks 40 years old.
Beyonce said she is grateful to everyone who took their time to celebrate with her in the hand-written note shared on her official website.
She disclosed that this is the first year she understood what it means to be alive and to live in the moment, how fragile and how life can be. She also added that her fortieth birthday is the best she has felt in her entire life.
Beyonce wrote; “I’m so thankful for every inspiring human who took the time to send me all the beautiful messages,” the star wrote. “I cried tears of joy and was covered in chilly bumps. Your videos, your posts, your countdowns, your playlists, and your well wishes, I will cherish forever.
“I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially the fans for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes. I admire and respect all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
