Simi, a respected singer, has asked a social media critic to shut her mouth up when she attempted to condemn the ‘Woman’ crooner’s expertise in music.
The social media critic, apparently after listening to Simi’s latest single titled ‘Woman’, aired her opinion about her talent.
The decrier said Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, sings better than her. “Your husband sings better than you @SympLySimi”, she wrote.
Unperturbed, Simi responded by bragging about her husband. “I can live with that. He’s awesome”, the mother of one replied.
Simi’s new single, ‘Woman’, exposes the gender intimidation and segregation faced by the African women. The amazing vocalist sampled some of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s sensitive lyrics and redefined them to match the current generation.
