Energetic rapper Falz has assured his followers that everyone arrested at the #EndSARS memorial protest ground at the Lekki Toll Gate on Wednesday will be released.
The witty wordsmith said this in an Instagram post during the memorial car procession held for the protesters killed during the October 20, 2020, #EndSARS protest at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Falz expressed his gratitude to the Nigerian youths who joined the memorial protest. He said he was emotional to see many people troop out for the heroes who lost their lives.
“It’s every emotional seeing so many people out here coming to memorialize our heroes. We didn’t know so many people would come out.”
“Thank you to everyone that came out today. We are definitely not going to leave anyone behind. If anyone has been picked up, we are going to make sure they’re released on time,” he said.
