Former big brother Naija housemate, Tobi Bakre, has taken to social media to open up on the secrets of having a beautiful marriage and being a father. The reality TV star revealed this during a question and answer segment on his Instagram story.
Recall, Bakre and his wife, Anu, got married in August 2021 and they welcomed their first child together on December 30, 2021 and named him after his father.
When asked how fatherhood was to him, the father-of-one described it as:
“the simplest and best moments of my life, really.”
He added that fatherhood was:
“a lot of work and more to come but so much joy, happiness, and willingness to do it.”
The actor also revealed that he was in the delivery room when his child was born, describing the moment as “surreal.”
When another fan asked him his secret to making marriage look beautiful, he said one needs to admit that nobody is perfect and get comfortable with it, thereby making it easier to move past issues. He wrote:
“Get comfortable with the fact that nobody is perfect. Get comfortable with the many fights and quarrel you will have. Be able to have honest communications and honest self assessment when necessary. Love and Respect regardless of see finish. Have friendship on lock. A lot more but that’s another days Ted talk”
