VIDEO: WIzkid addresses alleged beef with Colleagues in an interview

Nigerian pop star, Ayo Balogun a.k.a Wizkid, has revealed that he does not like to engage in music beef or any other type because it is not his style.

The video which went viral on Tuesday shows Wizkid speaking about his music on Los Angeles commercial station 92.3’s hip-hop show The Real After Party.

Bootleg Kev, who co-hosts the show with DJ Damage, asked the ‘Starboy’ crooner if he has ever gotten into a rap beef or any music related squabble with other artistes.

Reacting, Wizkid said he does not believe in beefs, so he doesn’t do such.

They then joked that if Wizkid were to have a concert in LA, they would only play One Dance by Drake, which features Wizkid.

In response, Big Wiz went as far as correcting the US Radio hosts of the popular misinterpretation of ‘African Music’.

Starboy noted that Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tubaba, R2Bees and the likes are artistes that release songs people love listening via streaming and other platforms.
