Recently Jigan, like some other actors has been working on different comedy videos; his style is comically fighting with other celebrities.
Nollywood actor Abimbola Kazim, known as Jigan Baba Oja, has called out his colleagues for not supporting his craft.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, March 28, Jigan Baba Oja said one of the things that put him into depression is when he doesn’t get support from his colleagues as much as he expects despite not using his disability to ask for money.
The Yoruba actor said he puts in a lot of work and effort into what he believes he is good at, which is the skit, but some people seem to think it is better if he asks for money rather than their support.
Jiga BabaOja lamented that the video he shared on his Youtube Channel could not get massive views despite the awareness created online.
He went on to reveal that it won’t debar him from doing more.
He wrote:
“This is really sad one of the things that put me into depression is when I don’t use my disability to seek favor from people and I tried everything within my power to do what I believe I know how to do best and after putting so many things together to achieve my aims , but the only thing people want is expecting you to always ask them for money , when they don’t support what you do , it’s really sad that after so many awareness over this shoot , yet the views is not really impressive .
If what you all think I will do is give up on this dream i promise you will never see me fall. Some are even waiting for me to beg them to repost my craft , even to the so-called my friends , cannot put it on their page this is pure wickedness and hate .
I will keep pushing so hard and I will never get tired.“
Recall that last year, fellow actor Funke Akindele-Bello took to instagram to drop a funny caption under a video of Jigan Baba Oja as a show of support.
Funke had posted a video of him on her Instagram account and said that one of her new year resolutions is to beat him up, she then asked him to come to Amen Estate in Lagos. Read details here
