Bankulli reacts to Grammy loss, urges the show for an Afrobeat category

Nigerian Entertainment Executive popularly known as Bankulli has reacted to Nigerians’ Grammy loss while also urging the prestigious award to create a category for Afrobeat.

A Grammy nominee himself, the Nigerian entertainment business big wig made this known in a post he made on his Instagram post while talking about Wizkid’s loss in both categories he was nominated.

Recall that Wizkid was nominated in the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ where he lost to Pakistani Arooj Aftab’s ‘Mohabbat’ and also for a second nomination in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category where he lost to Beninese Angelique Kidjo’s, ‘Mother Nature.’

Bankulli while praising Wizkid in his post also pointed out how the superstar singer has brought his fans nothing but joy in over a decade, and how the nominated album broke all known records.
