For a song to be certified platinum in Britain, the track must have sold over six hundred thousand (600,000) units in the UK.
Joyous Fireboy shared the news on his Instagram page, alerting his fans about the new feat of the acclaimed song, ‘Peru’ remix.
“Platinum! 🇬🇧 big love and appreciation to everyone involved in this success. There’s always more, let’s keep going!” he shared.
‘Peru’ remix featured multiple award-winning English singer Ed Sheeran.
