Why do people lie about their real age? – BBN Peace questions

It’s no longer news that some celebrities have been caught in the web of lies concerning their age.

Reserved big brother Naija’s ‘shine ya eyes’ ex-housemate, Peace Ogor has said that she will never understand the reason why people lie about their age.

The reality star who recently addressed pregnancy rumours about her because of her absence from the social media sphere for about 4months made this known on twitter.

In the tweet she shared, the dark-skinned beauty added that she feels she’s the “only person with real age”.

Peace tweeted:

“I will never understand the need to lie about your age, never!!!.

At this point I’m the only person with real age.”

Although Peace didn’t mention names, it may or may not be connected to fellow housemate, Maria. Recall tweeps were questioning former Maria Chike’s claim that she turned 30 this year.

On Saturday, April 30, Maria shared some photos from her birthday shoot ahead of her 30th birthday on May 3.

Some of her followers however argued she was lying. One claimed Maria was her senior in secondary school and wondered how she is older than the BBNaija star.  Maria took out time to respond to them, claiming that she might be clocking 30, but it doesn’t mean she’s still not her former school mate’s senior.

Another celebrity, Uche Nwaefuna, a Nigerian actress and model also known as Uche Montana addressed Instagram age setters to kindly mind their respective businesses.

The pretty diva who celebrated her birthday weeks ago, says she is 25 years old, however her followers on Instagram are doubting the age.
But for Uche Montana, she is 25 years old and proud of her age.
