Nigerian musician Rema has attained new height with his debut album, ‘Rave and Roses,’ on Spotify, a music streaming platform.
‘Rave & Roses’ album by Rema set a new record as the first album to maintain number one position for nine weeks on the Spotify Nigeria Weekly Album Chart. This is the highest week for any Nigerian artiste to be on the Spotify Nigeria chart since it was introduced in 2022.
‘Rave and Roses’ is a compilation of 16 songs, featuring 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, and Yseult. Rema described the album as the piece of his soul to his fans worldwide.
The young chap with enviable music knack said the album is a fresh air for Afrobeats while speaking at the exclusive album listening party for his very first studio album on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Rema released the album in the early hours of Friday, March 25, 2022.
