‘Otiti,’ the new film by Nigerian filmmaker, Ema Edosio is set for a premiere at the Brazil International Film Festival in Sau Paulo and Curitiba this year.

The movie “Otiti,” which was previously known as “Umuemu Oseme” (The Sins of the Father) and is executive produced by Jeff Jacobson with NuNu Deng and Edosio listed as co-producers tells the story of a seamstress who is solely in charge of taking care of her sick father, who abandoned her when she was a child.

Gina Castel plays the main character in the film. Charles Etubiebi, Tunde Daniels, Yinka Davies, Chimezie Imo, Obi Maduegbuna, and Toritseju Ejoh are among those who starred in the movie.

On July 5, 2022, the Chijioke Onuniwe-penned movie will make its debut with other carefully chosen films.

While sharing the news, Edosio expresses her excitement about sharing her work with a global audience.

“What do I look forward to the most? I look forward to sharing my film with a global audience.

“One of the joys of film-making is you cannot predict where and who’s going to watch your film. You also cannot predict how the audience would react to it. This can be both exciting and nerve-racking.”
