Fireboy DML and Asake

YBNL Nation signees Fireboy DML and Asake tap inspiration from American rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur, popularly known as 2Pac, for their latest collaboration titled ‘Bandana.’

2Pac is notable for rocking a bandana on his head as his fashion signature. This style inspired Fireboy and Asake’s chorus in their new potential hit song, ‘Bandana.’

Fireboy and Asaka are having the best of 2022 following their popular songs, ‘Playboy’ and ‘Peace Be Unto You,’ respectively. Fireboy called on his label mate, Asake, and tapped into his style to create ‘Bandana,’ an addictive song.

Fireboy sang about his music prowess and how his craft is now accepted worldwide, although he revealed he has been into music since 2006. The singer added he was not claiming to be an OG but implied that music chose him.

Asake brought his street vibes to the song by delivering his incredible flavour on the chorus. Asake matched up Fireboy’s verses with his honeyed rendition of the music.

In August 2022, Fireboy will release his new studio album tagged ‘Playboy,’ which will also house this new song, ‘Bandana.’
