Singer Ruger under fire for shading Buju ‘BNXN’

Nigerian Afro-dancehall artist, Michael Olayinka widely known as Ruger,
has subjected himself to serious dragging on social media after firing shots at his colleague BNXN formerly known as Buju following a question from a Twitter user.

A couple of hours ago, Ruger held a question and answer segment on his Twitter page and his fans sent in their questions.

The Singer answered questions on his love for horror movies, a song he has with his label boss, D Prince, his feelings on being nominated for the Headies Next Rated Awards and more.

However, the music star shocked many after throwing a shade at Buju following a tweet from a Twitter user who stated that BNXN was a better singer than he was.

The fan tweeted:
Lol bnxn is better than you 😂 and there’s nothing you can do about it you this low budget Samuel L Jackson”

The tweet saw Ruger respond with a statement explaining the difference between the two acts.

Ruger said;

“I love buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?”
