Singer Ruger has dropped the official music video for his trending track dubbed ‘Girlfriend.’
The video released on Thursday, August 4, 2022, enjoyed a colourful treatment from respected cinematographer TG Omori.
‘Girlfriend’ is a song taken from Ruger’s ‘The Second Wave’ deluxe extended play (EP), which was released earlier this year. The EP also housed other songs like ‘We, We,’ and ‘Warning.’
The singer’s fans on social media have since been expressing their positive remarks about the new visuals. Some of them gave kudos to the director, TG Omori, for doing an outstanding job.
Others who commented on the flick applauded the set designer for the creativity employed in making the ‘Girlfriend’ video appealing to viewers. Ruger’s dance steps didn’t go unnoticed as well.
