Filmmaker Ademola Adelakun loses leg, begs for financial support

Movie producer Ademola Adelakun has begged the public for financial support to travel abroad for treatment after losing one of his legs to diabetes.

Actress Biola Bayo, who gave details on the sickness on Thursday, August 11, pleaded with Nigerians to financially assist the movie producer.

In a video, she posted on Instagram, Biola who sat beside Adelakun revealed how the movie producer gave her a lead role in a movie titled Eyin Oka without demanding sex or money.

The Yoruba actress noted that Adelakun has helped a lot of people and deserves to be helped.

She said the filmmaker needs money to travel to Germany for medical treatment to avoid the spread of diabetes to other parts of his body.

The actress said N20 million was earlier announced but more will be needed due to the rise in exchange rates.

While appealing for funds in an old video, Adelakun said he never wanted to come out to appeal for funds and had been battling the ailment on his own, but that he was compelled to come out to seek assistance because he exhausted all he had and now needs more money to stay alive.

Ademola is the CEO of Megastar Entertainment.
