Nigerian hip-hop legend Eedris Abdulkareem has undergone a successful kidney surgery.
WithinNigeria had reported that the doctors moved the kidney transplant surgery, which was initially scheduled for July 27, to another date. However, Abdulkareem’s associate, Myke Pam, confirmed on Monday, August 22, 2022, that the operation was successful.
He added that the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner and her wife, who donated her kidney to her husband, were recovering following the surgical process while thanking Nigerians for their support.
On July 6, 2022, WithinNigeria disclosed that Abdulkareem was undergoing dialysis at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos ahead of the successful kidney transplant.
