Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale sets aside his beef with Afrofusion musician Burna Boy to acknowledge the Nigerian star’s multiple successes.
Earlier this year, WithinNigeria reported Shatta Wale and Burna Boy were at a constant war of words online with a threat to engage in a physical fist fight, which never happened.
Shatta Wale, who had expressed his dissatisfaction with Nigerian musicians and how they dominated Africa’s music, said despite not being on talking terms with Burna Boy, it won’t stop him from lauding the singer.
“Laad Gad my friend who was to be and no more my friend is killing the world – Even tho we don’t talk, am so happy to see him succeed!!? Shouts to Burna you burning it…. Love,” Burna Boy shared.
