Nollywood actor and director, Yul Edochie has stirred reactions after he gifted the sum of N100K to a lady who sent him one thousand naira following an accident.
The father of five in an IG post disclosed that the lady heard about his accident and asked him for his account number for her to send N1K so he could at least purchase an ice block to cool his head.
Yul noted that he sent his account details and she transferred the cash to him. The actor admitted to having been touched by the rare act of generosity and subsequently sent her a whopping sum of N100K.
Speaking further, Yul held that one mustn’t have it all before they display generosity and urged people to give from the little they possess.
In his words:
A fan of mine heard I had an accident and told me to send my account details so she’ll send me 1k so I can buy ice block to cool my head.
Obviously that’s all she can afford.
I laughed cos it sounded funny.
I sent it and she sent 1k to me.
I was so touched by her act of giving.
From the little she has.
Such a person will give much more if she has more.
So I sent her 100k.
To cool her weekend.

In life you must not have it all before you give.
Give from the little you have.
None of us will be here forever.
