Tanzania I’m here and I didn’t forget my bags – Ruger shades senior colleague, Kizz Daniel weeks his arrest

Singer Ruger has subtly shaded his colleague Kizz Daniel, weeks after the latter’s arrest in Tanzania.

The 23-year-old who announced his arrival in Tanzania for a concert in a Twitter post, tweeted about not forgetting his bags like Kizz Daniel after he was arrested for failing to perform at a concert in the country.

The singer born Michael Adebayo Olayinka wrote:

“TANZANIA !!!! I’m here and i didn’t forget my bags . See you October 1st.”

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls Kizz Daniel made headlines in August after he was taken into custody for failing to perform at the paid concert.

At a press conference, the 28-year-old apologised to his fans for his absence at the concert, and promised a free show after two days. He said in parts:

“The fans were already going wild which I know was out of love but I was advised to stay back, it wasn’t safe, it’s no disrespect to the fans. This Friday, a free show, by the way, I will be partnering with Straight Up Vibes to make that happen. I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional.”

However, in an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, the show promoter Stephen Uwa claimed:

“Daniel said he would not be performing because the airline did not bring his bag containing his gold chain.”
