Halima Abubakar responds to Apostle Suleman’s 3-day ultimatum, lawsuit threat

Nollywood star, Halima Abubakar has reacted after Popular clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman, threatened a lawsuit if the ailing Actress does not desist from defaming his character.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that for over two months now, Halima has been spilling a series of her alleged sexcapades with the controversial pastor and also exposed their social media chats.

Halima’s family also threatened to expose the clergyman as the health of the actress continues to deteriorate over an undisclosed ailment.

Responding to the allegations, Suleman through his legal team asked the actress to retract her earlier comments, in a statement to be published via social media and five national dailies.

In a letter titled ‘Defamatory Statements Concerning Apostle Johnson Suleman; Notice to Cease and Desist’, dated September 28, 2022, The cleric also asked Halima to sign an undertaking indicating her willingness to “stop spreading defamatory statements against him”.

He also noted that legal action will be instituted against the actress if she fails to comply with his demands within three days.

Reacting to the threat of legal consequences, Halima Abubakar, agrees to meet Apostle Suleman in court.

In an Instagram story, she wrote, “JS Suree, see you at the court.”
