Nigerian Filmmakers, The Critics Partners With Morgan Freeman On Short Film Titled ‘Ogun Ola – War Is Coming’

Teenage Nigerian filmmakers, The Critics have announced their partnership with popular Hollywood star, Morgan Freeman on their short film titled ‘Ogun Ola – War Is Coming.’

Narrated by Morgan Freeman, ‘Ogun Ola – War Is Coming’ has now premiered on The Critics YouTube page to a vast range of audience.

The short film follows the story of Óla, a brash teenager who discovers he is the reincarnation of a demigod, and spirals into his destiny, unprepared for the events that come as a result of this discovery.

While confirming the premiere of the short film, Morgan Freeman posted a video on his Instagram page with his caption praising the people of The Critics.

After releasing their short film The Chase, which was totally captured on their smartphones in 2019, the teenage filmmakers, with appearances on BBC, CNN, Reuters, and Al-Jazeera among others, became an online sensation.
