May Edochie threatens to sue Actress for plotting with Judy Austin to tarnish her image

May Edochie, first wife of Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie, has issued a Cease and Desist letter to Actress, Sarah Martins over what she described as defamatory publications she made against her.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported during the festive period last year that May shared a family Christmas photo but Yul was the only family member missing.

Hours after the photo went viral online, Yul and Judy’s friend and colleague, Sarah, photoshopped the actor, his second wife Judy Austin and their child inside the photo posted by May.

Sarah had also made strong allegations against May in an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze. She claimed that May failed in her duties to Yul as his wife, which made him find love in the arms of another woman.

In reaction to this, May Edochie, in her letter, threatened to press charges against her for subjecting her to public harassment.

The mother of four is seeking for a public apology, a retraction of statement and assurance that she won’t repeat the utterances.

She also gave Sarah 14 days to apologise or face legal actions which may include monetary damage.

Sharing the “Cease and desist letter” on her Instagram page, May stated that she has realized that some persons are out to taint her reputation and change the narrative in order to suit their agenda.

“If is very inconsiderate and demeaning to SMEAR anyone especially someone you barely knew. I’ve always had a PEACEFUL JOYFUL and LOVING family. I worked tirelessly for several years building beautiful home while managing several businesses successfully.

It is very evident that some persons have been deliberately and desperately trying to TAINT my reputation and change the narrative in order to suit their agenda. This is unacceptable to me.

My passionate legal team will be extremely cheerful to dine with anyone who does not cease and desist from character assassination or defamatory publications in the court of law”.
