In a recent explosive episode on ‘BBNaija All Stars’, tensions reached a boiling point as Mercy, one of the show’s fan-favorite contestants, unleashed her anger and shut Ilebaye down without holding back.
Mercy yelled at Ilebaye for always acting like she’s being attacked by other housemates in the big brother’s house.
After many attempts by each party to vent their grievances over other All Stars’ participation in the wager preparation, things quickly deteriorated.
What began as a dialogue between them while working on the weekly wager turned into an altercation.
Mercy was irritated by Ilebaye’s continuous complaints about the attitudes of the other housemates toward the wager task.
She screamed:
“Nobody is attacking you… shut up, shut your trap. Stop trying to play the victim… Look at your left and right we are working, stop acting like we are not working… are you trying to shun me up”.
When Ilebaye attempted to address her complaint, she told him to refrain from rejecting Soma, Ilebaye tried to argue her point, claiming that neither of them were the target of the statements
The outburst was sparked in part by Mercy’s recollection of Ilebaye’s behavior towards the wager tasks while other housemates were Head of House.
Even though Ilebaye is the Head of home for this week, she has battled for the majority of the week to appropriately run the house, with a few disagreements here and there.
In another story, Drama ensues as Mercy Eke walks out of Adekunle’s first meeting as Head of House
The HoH convened the meeting after Mercy flouted the rules of the reality show by invading the Head of House lounge and asking Adekunle and his friends Soma, Cross, Seyi and Frodd to come out to the garden for practice.
Adekunle and his friends declined to go to the garden, citing exhaustion as their reason. In response, Mercy criticized Adekunle’s behavior, stating that he was not acting in line with the responsibilities of a Head of House.
Mercy cautioned Adekunle that none of his friends would be linear with him should any of them emerge Head of House in the future.
Angered by Mercy’s outburst, Adekunle convened a meeting at the lounge with all the housemates, but Mercy stormed out midway.
Pere approached Mercy’s bed after the meeting’s conclusion and asked her why she had left the meeting.
In response, Mercy explained that she was upset because Adekunle and his friends claimed to be tired, despite chatting away when she asked them to come out for practice.
