CeeC faces 'bitterleaf' taunts after eviction

BBNaija All Star finalist, Ceec, found herself in an unexpected situation of mixed reactions and an unkind nickname ‘bitterleaf’ following her eviction from the reality show’s Season 8 edition.

Ceec, who had secured her spot as the second runner-up of the 2023 edition, had garnered both supporters and detractors during her time in the Big Brother Naija house.

As is customary on the show, after her eviction from the Big Brother’s house, the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, invited Ceec to join him on stage for a post-eviction interview.

However, the moment was marred by an unexpected incident that left the audience divided.

As Ceec made her entrance to the stage, a section of the audience began to chant “bitterleaf” repeatedly, aiming the derogatory term at her.

This unsavory incident caught Ceec’s attention, causing her to turn around in an attempt to identify the source of the name-calling.

In a show of support and professionalism, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the seasoned host, quickly stepped in, holding Ceec’s hand to prevent any reaction and ensuring that the situation did not escalate.

In other news, Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Cross has accused his close ally and best friend, CeeC, of bullying him during a task and ultimately winning a car prize meant to be his.

As previously reported, CeeC emerged victorious in the Innoson task, earning herself a brand new SUV, the Innoson Ikenga MVP.

However, what has stirred controversy is Cross’s claim that he was subjected to bullying by CeeC during the task.

In a conversation with fellow housemates Mercy and Pere, Cross expressed his grievances, emphasizing that his concern was not about the car prize itself but rather CeeC’s behavior during the task.
