Eedris Abdulkareem set to drop diss track in response to Burna Boy

It’s saddening that you’re wishing me dead – Eedris Abdulkareem continues to reply Burna Boy

Nigerian rap star, Eedris Abdulkareem has lashed out at Afrobeats and dancehall singer, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy for “wishing him dead.”

He replied to Burna Boy’s earlier shade where the self-acclaimed African Giant hinted that he is not happy with the people who contributed money for the Hip Hop artiste to undergo kidney transplant.

The clash started with Eedris criticising the ‘Last Last’ crooner for saying that nobody in the Nigerian entertainment industry helped him, and he said that is a stupid talk.

But in a now-deleted tweet, Burna Boy replied;

“Abdul Kareem Abi wetin dem dey call your papa, I no blame you. I blame people wey donate money for your hospital bills. And I wish say you be person wey fit dey enter the kind places wey I dey dey, make we use mistake jam.”

However, reacting via his Instagram page, Abdulkareem said Burna Boy wishing him or any other person dead was “truly saddening and very disappointing.”

The veteran singer said he will release a single soon to officially address the rift. He wrote;

“ESSAY TO BURNA BOY” FOR WISHING ME DEAD

Wishing me or any other person dead is truly saddening and very disappointing. Making fun of my health crisis and blaming people that helped to keep me alive is very shameful.

Threatening my life is a different ball game, but for you to play God? Thats the most nauseating foul prank of all times.

Now, conscientious Nigerians and the general public are weighing into the matter and you instantly deleted your demonic prayers for me.

I’ll reply through the only medium that i have…and that is music; so I will be dropping my heartfelt response via a single aptly named “Essay to Burnaboy” in a fortnight. Stay tuned for that because “No man be GOD”.”
