Dayo Amusa, Ugezu J. Ugezu reacts to Bobrisky being awarded Best Dressed Female at Eniola Ajao’s Beast of Two Worlds premiere

Popular Nigerian film actors, Dayo Amusa and Ugezu J Ugezu have joined the multitude of other dissenting voices on social media who expressed their displeasure at the contest which took place during Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere, Beast of Two Worlds: Ajanaku.

Dayo Amusa slammed all the judges who worked together and decided to declare crossdresser Bobrisky as the best-dressed female at the movie premiere.

In a clip posted on her page moments ago, Dayo Amusa expressed her displeasure on the decision but noted that she bears no grudge against Bobrisky.

The Nollywood star described the decision as disrespectful and shallow. Dayo Amusa like Toyin Abraham, further questioned the sanity of those who decided to crown Bobrisky, knowing full well that he is a man dressed as a woman.

Dayo Amusa noted that the decision is a blatant disregard for all the women who made the effort to dress up and attend the movie premiere. The actress’ video comes after a clip of Toyin Abraham reacting to Bobrisky’s win went viral.

Bobrisky was one of the first people to react to Dayo Amusa’s video criticising his win at the premiere of Beast of Two Worlds: Ajanaku.

In a similar fashion, veteran actor Ugezu J. Ugezu also questioned the sanity of the organizers, emphasizing how disrespectful it is to the women who attended the event. Ugezu J. Ugezu wrote:

“So many people have lost it.

HOW CAN A MAN WIN THE PRICE FOR “THE BEST DRESSED FEMALE” IN AN EVENT ORGANIZED BY HUMAN BEINGS?

Is this sincerely not a slap on the faces of our women who are working hard everyday to be the best of themselves?

Sometimes, I pause and ponder, where are we headed in this country?

No be government do this one oooo.

Na we just dey mumu dey insult our country.”
