AGN President Emeka Rollas affirms Junior Pope's passing after initial misinformation

The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has confirmed the untimely death of Nollywood actor Junior Pope.

This confirmation comes after a rollercoaster of emotions, with earlier reports suggesting hope followed by tragic finality.

Junior Pope reportedly met his demise in a devastating boat accident in Asaba, leaving his fans and followers reeling in shock and grief.

Emeka Rollas, who initially offered reassurance regarding the actor’s condition, was forced to backtrack and offer a somber apology for the confusion.

He explained that his initial optimism stemmed from observing movements in Junior Pope’s hands, only to later confront the grim reality of his passing.

Despite frantic efforts by medical teams at two prominent hospitals in Asaba, Junior Pope could not be revived.

“It’s so, so sad that our joy was short-lived. My first post was out of excitement when we noticed his tingling fingers. Two notable hospitals tried their best to revive him but to no avail. God knows best. We finally lost him,” AGN President wrote.
