Jnr Pope: Remains of late makeup artist laid to rest in Akwa Ibom following exhumation -VIDEO

Late Abigail Frederick was buried at her homestate in Akwa Ibom on Monday, 15th April


The makeup artist, Abigail Frederick, who tragically lost her life alongside Jnr Pope and four others in a boat accident on Anam River in Anambra State, has finally been laid to rest in Akwa Ibom State.

Originally buried at the riverbank due to her family’s inability to pay for necessary sacrifices and other bills, her remains were exhumed on April 14th following the intervention of the Akwa Ibom governor.

He pledged to transport her body to her hometown for a proper burial.

Subsequently, images and a video capturing the funeral proceedings have surfaced on the internet.

The visuals depict a significant turnout of mourners, reflecting the widespread sympathy for the deceased.

Governor Umo Eno’s compassionate gesture has garnered widespread praise and appreciation from the public for ensuring late Abigail Frederick received a proper burial.

Taking to her Instagram page, Adanma Luke addressed the public while shedding hot tears over the mishap.

Speaking, she revealed that Junior Pope refused to use a live jacket because it was dirty.

She tagged Junior Pope’s death as mysterious while citing things that occurred before he passed on.

According to her, when the boat crashed, Junior Pope didn’t sink immediately, rather he was floating and even asked about others.

Adanma Luke noted that Pope screamed at the top of his words, asking if everyone was okay.

She revealed that a rubber was also thrown to him to sustain himself but after a while, they didn’t see him again.

She disclosed that when help finally came, Junior Pope was nowhere to be found which led to divers entering the water to save victims of the boat accident.
