“You bit the finger that fed you” — Actress Hilda Dokubo drags Mercy Chinwo

Hilda Dokubo, in an explosive call-out, vented her anger and dismay towards Mercy Chinwo. She didn't hold back as she revealed how the gospel sensation turned her back on those who had nurtured her journey to stardom. But Dokubo didn't leave it at that; she also engaged in a verbal showdown with Chinwo's loyalists, driving home the point that Mercy failed to show gratitude.

Veteran Actress Hilda Dokubo has launched a scathing attack on Mercy Chinwo amidst her fallout with Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, the founder of the record label EeZee Conceptz.

During a recent podcast, music producer Roy David made explosive allegations against Ezekiel, accusing the record label boss of mistreatment. According to David, Ezekiel withheld his rightful financial earnings despite his instrumental role in producing hit tracks like ‘Excess Love’ for Mercy Chinwo.

However, in a bold move on Tuesday, Hilda Dokubo took to Instagram to drop a bombshell, sharing a screenshot of Mercy Chinwo’s heartfelt 2018 birthday message to her former label boss.

By doing so, Dokubo subtly implied that the songstress had turned her back on those who had nurtured her career.

In the birthday message, Mercy described Ezekiel as a “blessing to our generation” and also thanked him for being a “father, mentor, brother and manager.

Engaging in a heated exchange, the actress sparred with Mercy’s supporters who accused her of tarnishing the singer’s image.

Refusing to back down, Hilda, who emphasized her close ties with both Mercy and Ezekiel, staunchly defended herself;

“This nonsense has been on for over a year and have been quiet but the more am (sic) silent the more lies are spread and attempts are made by people who have never built anything in their entire life is spread out.”
