Taking to social media on April 24, 2024, Illbliss shared a heartfelt post along with a picture of Dagrin, expressing his sentiments:

Keep Resting Bro!

“Your legacy will never end.
We remember you.

“We respect your colossal immeasurable contributions to Nigerian Hiphop. You inspired so many
Keep resting.”

Late Dagrin

The indelible impact that Dagrin made on Nigerian Hiphop is profound and everlasting, inspiring countless others in the industry.

Dagrin’s legendary status as a trailblazer for indigenous rap in Nigeria remains unmatched, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to resonate even years after his untimely departure.

Known for his iconic hits such as Pon Pon Pon, Thank God (featuring Omawumi), Kondo, If I Die, and more, Dagrin’s music continues to captivate audiences and keep his memory alive.

His life was tragically cut short at the young age of 25.

In another story, Illbliss boasted that he is not a typical Nigerian artiste .

The actor/singer boasted about his versatility, unlike majority of his contemporaries in the Nigerian music industry.

He claimed to have been a successful banker before deciding to pursue a career in music.

According to Illbliss, he has always wanted to own property rather than just make music for the fun of it.
