Seyi Law reacts to trending video of him collecting lady’s phone number in public bus (Video)

Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has responded to a viral video showing him seemingly collecting a lady’s phone number on a public bus.

The video sparked a flurry of criticism, with one X user identified as @TheSerahIbrahim ruthlessly accusing him of trying to collect her number to send her the screenshots he sends to President Tinubu’s son, Seyi.

She wrote:

“I’m sure you are just taking her number so you can also be sending her the screenshots you send to Seyi Tinubu 😒.”

In response, Seyi Law clarified that the lady, Yetunde from the University of Lincoln, is a friend of a friend and was in Nigeria for an event he was supposed to host but missed due to a show in Abuja.

He further threw shade at his accuser, Serah Ibrahim, saying she wished it was her number he had collected.

In his words:

“Serah Ibrahim, you wish it was your number. That is YETUNDE from the University of LINCOLN, and their event in Nigeria happened on the 25th of May, which I couldn’t host because of my show in Abuja. She is such a beautiful lady.

She is also a friend of my friend, Dr Wisdom, the record label owner that signed Nasboi. Mo ju iyalaya e lo, Serah.”

It is no longer news that Seyi Law alongside other celebrities which include Toyin Abraham, Eniola Badmus, among others are currently in the bad books of a majority of Nigerians and has received several dragging online for supporting President Tinubu over Peter Obi and Atiku during the presidential election.
