Police declare Portable wanted over assault on Ogun officials

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command over an alleged attack on government officials.

According to reports, officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were assaulted and chased away by the singer and his associates while carrying out their duties.

The incident, which took place in the Ota area, led to the arrest and arraignment of nine of Portable’s associates in Abeokuta two weeks ago.

However, the singer himself has remained on the run while seeking leniency from the government.
