I wil deal with Soludo – Rev. Yinka Yusuf in new video sermon fumes; demands apology from Anambra Governor

Rev. Yinka Yusuf, the fiery lead pastor of Household of Love Churches Worldwide, has issued a blistering ultimatum to Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, insisting on an immediate apology for what he perceives as a direct attack on evangelism.

The controversy erupted over Soludo’s stance on public preaching, which has sparked outrage among religious leaders.

A viral video captured the governor confronting a street preacher over alleged disturbances in a market, citing the Anambra State Public Health Law of 2006, which prohibits excessive noise in public spaces.

Unmoved by Soludo’s justification, Rev. Yusuf took to the pulpit with unshaken resolve, declared that his next crusade would be held in an outdoor space Anambra as an act of defiance.

With fire in his voice, he warned the governor to retract his statements or face him head-on, vowing that no force would silence the gospel.

This is unfolding just days after the Anambra State government escalated its efforts to root out religious figures accused of using spirituality as a cover for deception, crime, and corruption.

Authorities have set plans in motion to clamp down on those who exploit the pulpit for personal gain, vowed to bring them to justice. The government’s stance signals an aggressive push to restore integrity within religious circles, as arrests and prosecutions loom over those found guilty of fraudulent practices.

In an exclusive interview with ABS, Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor revealed that Governor Soludo’s administration is determined to purge the state’s religious sphere of manipulative influences, target both self-proclaimed Christian leaders and questionable traditional practitioners.
