On Sunday, the 2026 Grammy Awards took place the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. the Recording Academy rewarded the artistic excellence of the top stars in music Sunday l.
This year, Recording Academy voters cast ballots for nearly 100 categories, including the aforementioned Album of the Year, as well as Song of the Year, Producer of the Year and Record of the Year. Kendrick Lamar led 2026 nominees with nods in nine categories. Lady Gaga followed with seven nominations, tied alongside producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut. Six-time nominees this year included Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny, among others.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards aired Sunday night on CBS and Paramount+. Trevor Noah hosted; performers included Carpenter, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and more.
For many artists, festivities begin with the Grammys Premiere Ceremony, a pre-show program where the Recording Academy unveiled winners in most of the categories. The Premiere Ceremony took place at the Peacock Theater, a seated venue neighbouring the arena.
