{"id":100261,"date":"2022-10-04T20:01:56","date_gmt":"2022-10-04T20:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=100261"},"modified":"2022-10-04T20:01:56","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T20:01:56","slug":"soso-soberekon-sues-harrysong-over-elimination-claims-demands-n500million-compensation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/10\/04\/soso-soberekon-sues-harrysong-over-elimination-claims-demands-n500million-compensation\/","title":{"rendered":"Soso Soberekon sues Harrysong over elimination claims; demands N500million compensation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">For alleging that music executive, Soso Soberekan hired assassins against him, singer Harrison Okiri better known as Harrysong has been sued by the former.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/10\/04\/how-soso-soberekon-sent-people-to-eliminate-me-in-harrysong-makes-shocking-claim-video\/\">Harrysong made this allegation<\/a> during an interview on the Frankly Speaking podcast. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the episode, the <i>Reggae Blues <\/i>crooner lamented the issue of fake friendships in the Nigerian entertainment scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/06\/20\/harrysong-wife-expecting-second-child-together\/\">Harrysong<\/a>, most people seen as his friends are \u201creal enemies\u201d looking for his downfall. He said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201c90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I\u2019ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAs a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you\u2019ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcort, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When asked if he had proof of the allegations, Harrysong said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI have evidence, I have videos, I have pictures.<br \/>\n<\/span>\u201cThis is no joke. You\u2019ll say he is my friend, he\u2019s not my friend. He wants to kill me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to the allegations against him, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/08\/26\/why-parents-must-also-prepare-their-male-children-for-marriage-music-exec-soso-soberekan\/\">music executive Soso Soberekon<\/a> sued Harrysong and also demanded N500million compensation for tarnishing his image. He captioned the post:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAs a matter of fact, I always mind my business,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">stay on my lane and put smile on people&#8217;s faces.<br \/>\n<\/span>It is very disappointing that Harrysong will make such a false, reckless and defamatory statement.<br \/>\nPlease to my supporters, remain calm, this will be addressed and will be handled properly and legally.
