According to her, this is where the need for a long-term exit plan comes to play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She went on to point out that no man is worth dying over, and that women should be able to brace up and move on whenever necessary. Morayo Brown wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cTHIS THING CALLED MARRIAGE HE? SOME WOMEN NEED A LONG-TERM EXIT PLAN. YOU\u2019VE GOT TO KNOW WHEN TO MOVE. NO MAN IS WORTH HIGH BP\u2026. IT\u2019S NOT EASY BUT POSSIBLE.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">WITHIN NIGERIA recalls media personality and former radio host, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/10\/15\/leave-so-you-can-live-toke-makinwa-reacts-to-ivds-wifes-death-blames-religious-fanatics-society-culture\/\">Toke Makinwa had given a similar advice to her colleague, Morayo\u2019s pos<\/a>t. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While reacting to the shocking death of Bimbo, wife of popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, Toke stated that it is better to \u201cleave to live\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bimbo, a mother of five died on October 15, after allegedly setting her home ablaze during a scuffle\u00a0with her husband.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She was rushed to the hospital while IVD who sustained minor injuries absconded.\u00a0She was in the Intensive Care Unit of a Lagos hospital for some days but unfortunately gave up the ghost this morning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Taking to her Twitter page, Toke Makinwa bared her mind on the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Makinwa via the lengthy rant wondered why there\u2019s pressure on women to marry and stay married, no matter the circumstances. She also warned any woman through domestic violence to flee before she meets her untimely death. She wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cStop arguing with stupid people on Twitter, they make you look even more stupid. Mark their handles, share with your sane community and avoid them at all cost. No use trying to educate certain individuals, they read not to understand but to respond and it is pointless.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cSociety \u2013 do this, do that, see your mates, at your age, and the list is endless. Same society now that someone has died, leaving 4 kids behind is saying why didn\u2019t she leave? Leave to live\u2026 Like If she left she still won\u2019t be shamed for being divorced. Pls let\u2019s do better<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cReligion is also a big problem. Many people are told that \u201cGod hates divorce\u201d, many people are made to feel bad like they have failed God, this issue is deeper than we even understand. Is God happy when someone ensures abuse and dies? We need to do better.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cMay God not let us meet, befriend, marry and eventually die by the hands of our enemies we confuse as lovers. Love is not enough to save some situations, leave so that you both can get the help u need, focus on co-parenting and be alive to celebrate milestones for your children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI blame the foolish culture that attaches so much validation to status quo, the pressure to get married, stay married, have kids, it\u2019s too much. Half the people who want to leave are afraid and that fear is not real.
