Battle on Buka Street<\/b><\/h3>\n

Set to be released in cinemas on the 16th of December, 2022, \u2018Battle on Buka Street\u2019 tells the story of the rivalry between two food sellers who find themselves selling on the same street.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being her third directorial, Funke Akindele showed a comedic disposition as well as addressing serious issues like the family drama of a father mixed in the middle of a murder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ijakumo (The Born-Again Stripper)<\/b><\/h3>\n

This action-filled thriller written by Kehinde Joseph and produced by Toyin Abraham follows the story of the daughter of a powerful spiritualist who is on a mission to ruin the life of her ex-lover, a popular pastor of a mega-church who jilted her and left her to die, taking a stripper and a choir leader on her path of revenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Toyin Abraham, this action thriller is unlike one we\u2019ve ever seen before and loud would be an understatement to define it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kolawole Ajeyemi, Lolade Okusanya, Kunle Remi, Lillian Afegbai, Olumide Oworu, and Eso Dike are among the cast members, led by Toyin Abraham herself.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you see veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo in a movie, you already know it is about to be a great one. In \u2018Palava,\u2019 the veteran actor played the role of Osage Idehen, a famous music artist with five daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Palava\u2019 follows the story of how his love for women constantly puts him in the middle of the drama. On the eve of his 60th birthday, a scandal is exposed, upending his life and that of his family.<\/span><\/p>\n
