Announcing her forthcoming album, Teni said she is now an independent artist, who was not signed to any record label, and that her fans should prepare for the new project. \u201cIndependent now. I\u2019m recording the best album of my life,\u201d the artiste shared on Twitter.<\/p>\n
The vibrant musician has won different awards and accolades in Nigeria and abroad. At the Headies Awards, she won \u2018Rookie of the Year,\u2019 \u2018Best Pop Single,\u2019 \u2018Best Recording of the Year,\u2019 \u2018Viewer\u2019s Choice,\u2019 and \u2018Best Vocal Performance (Female).\u2019<\/p>\n
The vocal powerhouse also received nominations for \u2018Best New International Act\u2019 at the BET Awards and \u2018Best African Act\u2019 at MTV Europe Music Awards.<\/p>\n
