He made it clear that he wasn\u2019t doing damage control and insisted that the story was real. In his words:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI didn\u2019t open the door to meet them. You guys don\u2019t know me at this point. If you think I am doing damage control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You all need to understand that I walk into the room.
