The actress and her family also claimed that the pastor had inflicted her with sickness, as the once bubbling Halima has become a shadow of herself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to her several allegations, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/09\/29\/apostle-suleman-finally-breaks-silence-on-actress-halima-abubakars-threats\/\">Apostle Suleman threatened lawsuit against Halima for defamation of his character.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The suit titled \u201cDEFAMATORY STATEMENTS CONCERNING APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN: NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST\u201d was specifically addressed to Halima Abubakar over her outburst on social media regarding her past affairs with the man of God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The suit accused Halima Abubakar of publishing damaging, malicious and defamatory statements about Apostle Suleman against his conduct. She said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cJS Sure see you at the court\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Halima and Suleman had over a decade-old relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Kogi-state actress had opened a can of worms about their affair which she claimed happened 11 years ago.
