{"id":115893,"date":"2023-01-27T13:48:03","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T13:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=115893"},"modified":"2023-01-27T13:48:03","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T13:48:03","slug":"singer-b-red-reveals-next-action-as-tribunal-sacks-his-dad-adeleke-declares-oyetola-as-osun-governor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/01\/27\/singer-b-red-reveals-next-action-as-tribunal-sacks-his-dad-adeleke-declares-oyetola-as-osun-governor\/","title":{"rendered":"Singer B-red reveals next action as Tribunal sacks his dad Adeleke, declares Oyetola as Osun Governor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian singer Adebayo Adeleke aka B-Red, has tackled the ruling of the Osun State election petition tribunal that sacked his dad Ademola Adeleke as governor of the Southwest State.<\/p>\n<p>The tribunal, chaired by Justice Tertse Kume, had in a split document of two to one, ruled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should withdraw the certificate of return issued to Adeleke and issue the same to former Governor Gboyega Oyetola.<\/p>\n<p>According to Justice Tertse, INEC did not comply substantially with the constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.<\/p>\n<p>The Osun state governor, Adeleke, in his reaction,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/27\/just-in-adeleke-rejects-tribunal-verdict-heads-to-appeal-court\/?amp=1\">vowed to challenge the ruling at the Court of Appeal.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Adeleke&#8217;s son, B-Red, also took to his Instagram story, to question the verdict of the Osun election petition tribunal.<\/p>\n<p>While urging his dad&#8217;s supporters to remain calm, B-Red reteirated that his dad will appeal the judgement at the Court of Appeal, noting that his father remained the rightful winner of the July 16 election.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Two judgements issued today at the tribunal. One in favor of PDP. Nothing changed. Sen. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun state.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We move to the appeal court Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen H.E.
