He dey always feel like if you dey sign, you dey sign your life. And me, when I\u2019m making business decisions, I make sure I asked him first. So, I went to meet him and said, \u201cDaddy this is contract, Wiz wants to sign me.\u201d And he was just like, why not let us do [a] partnership?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHe was like, partnership will be better for you and for him [Wizkid]. Once you guys just partner on that level, so you\u2019re free to, like, do your own thing after. So, that\u2019s what we did.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThe thing about music is that bag [funds] is important. This is the truth, my popsy [dad] dey give me bags.
