Chidinma said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cI was born blind actually, I didn\u2019t open my eyes at all, and that became a challenge. My parents tried all that they could to get me to see.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u2026Without my knowledge, my mum made a deal with God<\/span><span class=\"s1\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Watch her speak below:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"My Story - Chidinma Ekile\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g10CwuWnX5Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>A while ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/05\/03\/chidinma-ekile-bares-all-reveals-how-she-transitioned-from-secular-to-gospel-music\/\">Chidinma Ekile disclosed that her decision to be born-again was ordained by God.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When asked what led her into doing gospel music, the \u201cK<em>edike<\/em>\u201d crooner said that her conversion is ordained by God. She said;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWell, it has been ordained. It was actually a prophecy, so I was going to get here anyway. Though there was a time I wasn\u2019t sure eventually I knew I was going to get there and what\u2019s the better time than now?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">The beautiful screen diva also urged her fans to expect the move of God in her music career and also her songs.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201dFans should expect the move of God. Yes, I\u2019m going to do the music but most importantly, I\u2019m here because of God. So, expect the move of God and expect to be blessed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThe journey so far has been quite challenging. I\u2019ve had to go through a whole lot of submission, prayer, and spending time with God. Prior to that, we all know how it has been before, and as I said, it is God who ordained that I\u2019ll be a minister of the Gospel and this is just the right time for me to step into it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cSo, the journey has kind of prepared me for this season, for this particular time.
