Renowned music producer, record label boss and singer, Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has reacted to a statement made by his protege turned superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke aka Davido.<\/p>\n

During an interview with YouTuber, Tayo Aina, Davido discussed his early music career, his growth in the industry, and his initial encounter with Don Jazzy, who he called his mentor. <\/span><\/p>\n

The singer who recently acquired one of the 150 limited editions of a Mercedes Benz-Maybach ca<\/a>r described his first meeting with Don Jazzy as an extraordinary experience, likening it to encountering Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, he acknowledged Don Jazzy as his mentor, stating that it took guts to stand in his presence during their first meeting together. <\/span><\/p>\n

In his words<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDon Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Taking to Instagram, Don Jazzy shared the video of Davido speaking and proudly gushed over his achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n

He mentioned that Davido\u2019s work ethic, despite his considerable success and wealth, serves as a constant source of motivation for him regardless of being his mentor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don Jazzy also acknowledged not letting the singer down particularly because of the pedestal he placed in him as his mentee. He wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s how life is @davido Now I look at all you have achieved and I am super proud of you. Even with all that success and wealth I look at your work ethic and I am highly motivated.
